The acquisition will bolster BSN medical's market presence, while accelerating its go-to-market capabilities for the entire lymphedema and vascular care portfolio including pneumatic pumps, garments, wraps and wound care solutions. Aligns with recent market purchases to fortify the therapeutic solutions offered to patients while strengthening its wound care and vascular business. On 3 April, 2017, Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA) completed the acquisition of BSN medical with plans to have included in a new personal care and tissue business spin-off Essity.
